Maths Week

Week 4 was Maths  Week. We practised our basic facts at home and had daily maths challenges. During maths week Room 12 invited us to their 100 day party. This inspired us to come back and to our class and create groups of 100 by counting in 1's, 2's, 5's and 10'.

Zoo Trip

Creative Lunch Time Play

The Zen garden had a replenished supply of pumice sand in the holidays. This has inspired the children to make their own patterns and mini gardens.

Three Billy Goat Gruffs

After watching the drama group performance of the Billy Goats Gruff  some of  the girls in our class were inspired to do their own performance. They treated our class and Room 12 to a great version of this well loved story.

Maths 3D Shapes

The children made 3D shapes - cubes, rectangular prisms and square pyramids, from match  sticks and Blu tack.

They  counted the corners and sides.

Honey Production Cards

The children drew thank you cards to give to the parents who helped make the props and costumes
