Home Learning 2021

Homai te paki paki Thaddeus! He has done some great topic work, math and also been reading up a storm on Epic!

Here is the 'Dwarf Planet Song' that inspired Maddy's learning about the dwarf planets. Click on the video to enjoy the song. Thanks Maddy for sharing!

Listen to Nevaeh share some interesting facts that she has learned about swans!

Clemence, I love your origami envelopes and your delicious looking burger.
Lilou what a very funny story you wrote! You read it so confidently too. I wonder if he will find his nose?
Maddy, what a fabulous Venn diagram you have produced. You have thought carefully, comparing and contrasting the two bears. You've showed what is different about each, and what they have in common.
Mahi nui!

Wow some great facts written by Nevaeh about Jaguars. What's more her presentation of writing is beautiful. Ka pai Nevaeh

What a fabulous Zoo map sent in by Lilou. Her labels are really easy to follow.  She has added a cafe for humans. The fun thing is instead of humans watching animals eat food, the animals can come and watch the humans eat food. What do you think would happen if I ordered something with bananas in it?

Well done to Spencer who read some information about the Red Panda. I wonder what his red panda is thinking?
Spencer has also been onto Epic! Keep up the Home learning everyone and don't forget to log onto Epic too. Click onto Explore and type in what interests you. It will load up your choice. Thaddeus chose Snakes and has got lots of books now to  read.

Ka pai Thaddeus with introducing your mother and father in Maori.!! So I issue a challenge to others to introduce their mum and dad using Maori language.
