This week was 'Green & Blue' week at school. We were learning how to care for our oceans and sea life.
On Tuesday we had a special assembly. Riley from Young Ocean Explorers came and spoke with us about her love of the ocean.
She shared amazing photos and videos of the sea life that she has experienced in our very own Hauraki Gulf. She talked with us about how we can help to protect our oceans.
Room 11 has decided that we are going to make a big effort to pick up plastic rubbish so that it doesn't end up polluting our oceans and hurting the sea life. Ka pai Room 11, we can all make a difference!
